Sarah Adam

(b. 1998, NZ)

Sarah Adam is an emerging artist based in New Zealand. Working from life in oil she travels to remote locations to capture a world away from people.

She is a passionate conservationist, having previously worked for the Department of Conservation (DOC) on remote island reserves. She is currently working on a predator eradication project on the West Coast of the South Island.

During her time on the West Coast she’s been investigating painting the epiphytes (plants that grow off other plants) high in the rainforest canopy.
